The Artist

God is an artist, just look at the sky!
He paints it so many beautiful colors, one just wants to fly.
Each line of color is carefully painted with His love,
Sometimes forgotten until we look above.
The mountains are also beautifully formed,
They are filled with colors so warm.
The ocean is His own special creation to us all.
It reminds us that He won’t let us drown if we fall.
God is great, God is good,
And we need to worship him like we should.
I haven’t taken the time I need to see that God’s in front of me.
I was reminded when I looked at the sky, now I can see.
His beautiful creation kept me towards Him,
It doesn’t matter how big or small the sin.
The artist of my heart he will be forevermore,
And I shall cling on when my heart becomes sore.
