A walk

When you close up and don’t talk,
Go with God on a walk.
He’ll listen when you’re in trouble.
He’ll be there on the double.
Sometimes we don’t know who to trust,
But God won’t turn his back on us.
Call on Him when you’re in doubt.
Call on Him when you’re worn out.
He’s there for you and me,
And He knows sometimes it’s hard to see.
He’s waiting for us to hold His hand.
He’s waiting for us to ask about His plans.
There’re tough times, and he knows them all.
He is waiting for us to call.
He’s the One that will walk with you in the rain.
He’ll hold you close and help you deal with the pain.
